Pomander silver

Treat yourself to a little dose of beauty and fragrance! The hand-crafted pendant necklace features a natural lava stone enclosed in a sterling silver circular locket. Lava is a grounding stone used by crystal healers and is said to strengthen your connection to the earth. The natural lava is porous which makes it a perfect personal diffuser to elevate your senses.

Our silver pomander is much more than a beautiful pendant necklace. A distinctive accessory to enhance your well-being, a tribute to the alchemists in the court of Emperor Rudolf II (1552-1612). Presented with a bottle of specially formulated blend of essential oils inspired by historical recipes. Comes with two replacement lava stones and two wool balls for different fragrance options. All ingredients are natural and bioactive.

Pomander, from the French "pomme d’ambre" (amber apple), was once fashionable jewellery of the wealthy holding within a ball of dried aromatic herbs. Inhaling the scent, or carrying the pomander as a decoration or talisman, was thought to protect against infections and foul smells.

How to use: Simply use the dropper to dab essential oil onto the stone. To exchange the stone or wool ball, take the pendant off the chain, gently spread the locket and insert the fill.

Ingredients: Base notes — labdanum, gum benjamin tree, styrax; heart notes — geranium, jasmine, neroli, tilia; top notes — bergamot, sweet orange.
