In the Shadow of Synagogues for schools

The local synagogues and the Jewish cemetery are among the most mysterious sights in Prague. You will have the privilege of entering the longest serving synagogue in Europe and the opportunity to be awed by the synagogue that, for many centuries, was the largest in Prague. Our guide – your storyteller – will share the most famous tales tied to the turbulent fate of this part of the city and its inhabitants.

Tour route:  Old Town Square – Franz Kafka Square –  Maisel Synagogue – Pinkas Synagogue – Old Jewish Cemetery – Old Ceremonial Hall  – Klausen Synagogue – Old-New Synagogue – Spanish Synagogue

• Meeting point: Guides&Tours office in the Old Town Hall – Old Town Square 1 (Staroměstské náměstí 1)-on the ground floor of the Old Town Hall, left side behind Giftshop
• End of the road: Spanish Synagogue – Věžeňská street 1
• Please note: The tour includes only the walk; entrance fees to individual sites are not included. The route is suitable in any weather, as well as after dark.
