    The Strahov side of Petřín Hill is known mainly for its gigantic sports stadiums and student dormitories. In many ways, both these compounds are closely connected with the history of totalitarian Czechoslovakia, but also with the struggle for freedom and underground culture in Prague. During the walk, we will also recall the older history of the area and reach the top of Petřín Hill, which has been a sacred place since time immemorial. Today it is chiefly a popular destination for families with children.

    Tour route:  Stadion Strahov station - Chaloupeckého - Olympijská - St Adalbert Bastion - St Lawrence Bastion - Strahov colleges - Club 007 - Šermířská - Rose Garden - Štefánik Observatory - Upper funicular station - Calvary Chapel - St. Lawrence Church - Maze - Petřín Tower

    • Meeting point:  Stadion Strahov station
    • End of the road: Petřín Tower
