Guide to the iconic Prague attraction

Please select

Meet the famed Astronomical Clock, world’s oldest working astrolabe of its kind, constructed in 1410. Every hour, a procession of 12 apostles turns out in two windows above the dial. The Rooster crows; The Vain Man nods looking in the mirror; The Miser shakes his pouch; The Skeleton rings the bell. It features a monthly calendar dial with the 12 signs of the zodiac. There are, however, many more functions far beyond timekeeping.

Our softback brochure is the best guide to take you through riveting history of the significant landmark admired by millions over the centuries. You will be surprised how smart and creative our ancestors in the Middle Ages and the following centuries were. Even in the age of smart phones, Prague Astronomical Clock is pretty impressive!
