This neo-Renaissance villa, designed by Vojtěch Ignác Ullmann, was built in 1872 as a summer retreat by entrepreneur, art collector and patron Vojtěch Lanna Jr. The exterior of this listed building is adorned with frescoes based on paperboards by Josef Mánes and executed by Viktor Barvitius, who also worked on the interior frescoes. On the ground floor, there are four grand salons themed on Greek and Roman mythology, complemented by allegorical and realistic paintings celebrating the builder's work and social activities. The representative premises of the Czech Academy of Sciences are now used for accommodation, conferences and cultural events. A café with a seasonal and daily menu is open to the public.
