The First Republic burgher inn U Váhy (At the Scales) has belonged to the Pašek family since 1917. Located in a building registered in 1713, this inn has been operating continuously since 1803. Recently renovated, the U Váhy Inn will delight you with its restored charm. The menu offers traditional Czech cuisine, featuring authentic recipes adapted for the modern palate from Magdalena Dobromila Rettigová’s legendary cookbook. Enjoy a cold, well-tended beer along with a taste of First Republic favourites, either indoors or on the terrace. We highly recommend treating your family to a traditional shared lunch or dinner experience, with dishes served at the centre of the table. You’ll be enchanted by the historic dishware, First Republic table linens and soup tureens, all an unmistakable component of family dining.

The vaulted cellars of this 310-year-old building house a private lounge with a self-service beer tap for groups of 15 to 20 people. With an electronic dartboard, you can host a friendly tournament for your friends or colleagues.
