This three-storey villa, designed by architect Josef Chochol, was constructed by builder Bedřich Kovařovic in 1912–1913. The building is a Czech Cubist masterpiece — both the building itself and the interior and the layout of the garden, including the fencing and the outdoor staircase, are all in the Cubist style. The main, less grand façade is part of a row of houses on Libušina ulice, while the more imposing rear façade forms the corner of Rašínovo nábřeží and Vnislavova ulice.
