The theatre was built by architect Vašek Šindelář for local amateur dramatics groups in 1924 to 1925, and the first performance took place on 1 August 1925. It became an important cultural and social centre in the decades that followed. Nowadays, Braník Theatre is home to the Losers Cirque Company, a new circus and pantomime ensemble. accessibility The BRAVO! theatre is wheelchair accessible, including toilets.
