In the heart of Prague's Karlín, in Křižíkova Street, there is a complex of buildings called Corso Karlín and Corso Court Karlín. This modern office complex was created by sensitive revitalization of the original factory hall of ČKD from the end of the 19th century, known as the "tin factory". In 2001, under the direction of architect Ricardo Bofill Levi, the hall was converted into modern office space, while preserving its original architectural character. The conversion was part of the large-scale Nový Karlín project, which aims to restore and revitalise the former ČKD industrial area. Source: Prague City Tourism
