overview about the place The Church of St. John of Nepomuk in Košíře is considered one of the finest spiritual buildings of the 20th century in the Czech Republic. The designer Ing. Arch. Jaroslav Čermák managed to infuse the Functionalist church building, standing on a rocky foundation, with Franciscan simplicity and humility. The dominant feature of the simple, austerely geometric church on a rectangular floor plan is the 55 m high prismatic tower topped with a stylised bell tower. The church building also includes a winter chapel dedicated to St. Wenceslas and a parish hall. The church received its final form at the turn of the 1980s—1990s. more about the place Regular roman catholic masses: Sun: 9:00
