The largest science festival in the Czech Republic features lectures, exhibitions, on-site events, documentary film screenings, workshops, open days, and many other activities across the country and across all scientific disciplines. The festival is a celebration of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and its fifth edition will take place from 3 to 9 November, at the Academy’s headquarters on Národní třída, but primarily at various CAS research institutes across the country. The event is intended for both secondary school students and the general public. Admission to all festival events is free. However, reservations are usually required for lectures, film screenings, workshops, and selected open days.
