Born in Ohio as Brian Hugh Warner, Marilyn Manson is considered the most controversial figure in heavy metal today. He remains the only constant member of the band that bears his name. His albums have been nominated for a Grammy five times, and he has received numerous awards and nominations — 31 wins and 63 nominations — in metal magazine and MTV polls. He has also directed many of his own music videos, and to date, he has released 11 studio albums and one live album.
