Dvořák Prague Festival 2025 — Philharmonix: The Vienna Berlin Music Club

tickets Teilen

Seven members of the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonics come together to play a repertoire you’d never hear in their home orchestras. They perform original compositions based on their own themes, but they also love borrowing core material from Brahms, Sting, Satie — even Queen. Only a basic outline of their repertoire is listed on the concert page. The rest is shaped by the atmosphere of the hall, the energy of the audience, and their own mood in the moment. What follows is a kind of spontaneous “jam session” — one that sweeps up not just the audience, but the musicians themselves.

program

Antonín Dvořák — Humoresque No. 7 in G-flat major, Op. 101 (arr. Stephan Koncz)
Maurice Ravel — La Valse (arr. Stephan Koncz)
*Sebastian Gürtler — Dichtungspolka

According to Philharmonix themselves, the rest of the program is written in the stars — guided by the energy and response of the audience.
